The information processed depends on how you contact or book with LilleCab.

4. Why We Use Personal Data

LilleCab may use personal data where necessary to respond to a request, prepare a quotation, create and manage a booking, organise passenger transport, communicate about a journey, allocate a chauffeur and vehicle, process or record payments, manage booking changes or cancellations, handle customer enquiries and complaints, and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations.

Where the processing is required to prepare or perform a transport booking, it is generally based on taking steps at the customer's request or performing the contract.

Certain information may also be processed where necessary to comply with a legal obligation or for legitimate operational and security purposes, provided those interests do not override the rights and freedoms of the individual.

5. Online Booking System — FareBookings

LilleCab uses FareBookings as part of its online booking and transport-management process.

When you use the LilleCab online booking form, information necessary to create and manage the reservation may be processed through FareBookings.

This may include journey details, passenger information, luggage information, transport references, booking records, chauffeur or vehicle allocation information and payment-status information where relevant to the reservation.

6. Online Payments — Stripe

Where online card payment is selected, LilleCab uses Stripe to process the payment transaction.

Payment-card information required for the transaction is handled through the payment service rather than being requested through LilleCab's general contact form.

Stripe may process information necessary to complete the payment, prevent fraud, meet regulatory obligations and provide payment-related services.

LilleCab may also accept payment by bank card on board, bank transfer or cash depending on the confirmed booking arrangements.

7. Contact Through WhatsApp

LilleCab offers WhatsApp as an optional communication channel.

If you choose to contact LilleCab through WhatsApp, information you send through that service is also processed according to the terms and privacy practices applicable to WhatsApp.

Customers who prefer not to use WhatsApp may contact LilleCab directly by email or telephone.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The LilleCab website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the technical operation, security, forms and booking functionality of the website.

Third-party services integrated into the website, including booking or payment services, may also use technical storage or similar technologies required for their own operation.

LilleCab does not require customers to provide unrelated personal information that is not reasonably necessary for the requested service.

10. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, where applicable, for the period necessary to meet legal, accounting, contractual or dispute-management obligations.

When information is no longer required for the relevant purpose and no legal reason requires its continued retention, it should be deleted, anonymised or appropriately archived.

LilleCab takes reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

Access to customer and booking information should be limited to persons and service providers that require it for the relevant service or legitimate operational purpose.

A person making a booking may sometimes provide information relating to another passenger, for example a passenger name or information necessary to organise the journey.

Such information should only be provided where it is reasonably necessary for the transport service and where the person making the booking is entitled to provide it.

The LilleCab website may contain links to or integrations with external services.

When you leave LilleCab's website or interact directly with a third-party service, the processing carried out independently by that third party is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.
